RV transporters just got done going through the slow season (Aug-Oct), when many of them were out of work/couldn't get loads. The manufactures had their dealer shows in Sep/Oct and are now pumping out the orders for the upcoming year. Most transporters I know don't like going east coast, but they do get paid a little extra per mile. Since they are just starting to get back to work, they take what they can get.
