2002 Montana

We recently bought one. When the slides are in; there are big openings with no seal. Which is how I assume mice got in. When the sides are out we have a good seal. What's the best way to fix the problem?

THERE ARE AS MANY ANSWERS TO A QUESTION WITH OUT MUCH INFO! ALL THE SEALS DO NOT TOUCH? ONLY ONE SIDE ARE THE SEALS SOFT OR STIFF AND DRY ROTTED? NEED A TAD MORE INFO PLEASE
