Another newbie mistake....

Went out yesterday to check over the TT and flush the water lines before we head out this weekend. Opened the outside shower and the pitiful little showerhead was broken. Hmmmmm wonder how that happened? Well, it's what happens when I forgot to open up the outside shower and blow the water out of that line when we did the rest last fall. At least it's a cheap part. Looks like I'm heading to the dealer to pick up a replacement, the tricky part is making sure I don't end up with a new 5er attached to the new showerhead I find while I'm there.

I did the same thing on my last trailer except it broke the faucet instead of the shower head. I found that I never forgot to winterize it again.

I made a newbie mistake this weekend as well. Got the rig all buttoned up for travel (I thought), only to arrive at the campground to find the propane hatch cover missing. I got the camper setup for my wife and then backtracked the 10 miles home, only to find it in the middle of the road a 1/2 mile from home, with tire tracks all over it. The bottom is pretty chewed up from the rough pavement, but the top cleaned up pretty well.

I'll be sure to check the fasteners from now on.

Be sure give yourself plenty of time to look at the new shower heads at the dealer. Spend time looking at each one inside and out to get the perfect one for you. I am sure it will be great.

Let us know how your truck pulls that new shower head when you get it, ok?

I "solved" my problem of needing to get a brake controller for our Sequoia by trading it for an F350...

Kristi, "stuff happens" - we all have minor RV mishaps at some point, newbie or otherwise.

Going to buy a shower/sprayer, and returning with a lot MORE?? Hmmm... imagine that?!

DH & I went out for an early dinner one evening, and came home with a new car. Needless to say, we NO LONGER take a stroll across a car dealer lot to "walk-off" a few calories!! <LOL>

We have done that, too.

Well the DW and I went to the Pomona RV show to see if we could get a good deal on a fifth wheel hitch. Didn't find a hitch .............. but, we bought our Cougar! Good luck with the shower head.

Last year, I went to dealer to get a new anode rod for my 2010 Sydney and came home with my current rig. Funny how that happens. The wife didn't find it so humorous.

We narrowed it down to 3 shower heads, one is attached to a 313, one to a 29rli, and one to a 327. I am in so much trouble!!!

A much cheaper option would be to get an Oxygenics for the outside shower. We like our inside one so much the stock outside one became disappointing.

Didnt think my 1/2 ton was big enough to pull our 5th wheel (it was maxed out) and she forced me to the dealership to buy my 2012 Ford 250 6.7 I love it when a plan comes together, Didnt have to ask or beg. Now Im tricking it out a little bit at a time with extra leafs and a bush bar. next is the led lights in the front. She wont notice.

Just make sure your TV matches with your shower head combination

Funny. On a serious note, I found that I never used the outside shower on my old RV. The new one has one as well (according to the literature), but it doesn't include the head, just the hose. I use the hose all of the time, it's great for washing things up.
