iRv DVD

How do I hook up a blue ray to my iRV player? Thru the tv or the DVD player? Thanks! First timers on this forum.

If it's like my iRV (EX6500DVD model), it will only have basic connections. If I were you, I'd use HDMI from the BR player to the TV, and then run an audio cable from the TV to the iRV unit for the sound. Or you could run the audio from the BR to the iRV if your TV doesn't have an audio out connection.

Ditto to what BirchyBoy said.

A/V technology in RVs is unfortunately stuck in the 20th century...

I do a similar setup for playing video from my iPhone and iPad. I have an HDMI adaptor that runs to the TV. My TV already has audio cable going to the stereo. Set my TV for HDMI1 and I can watch my iPhone movies and have the audio come out through the ceiling speakers.
