dead bolt

Have any one out there installed a house dead bolt on there trailer door.Yes I know C.world sells them but that is a long way from this house.I would like to install one from a big box store and have it keyed as the stick house BUSHMAN

I think you will find that dead-bolts for stick houses will not fit the thin doors used on RVs. A good pry-bar will open any RV door no matter what lock you put on it. The damage done to the trailer will probably be more costly than anything stolen. It is a "Catch 22" situation. JM2¢, Hank
