Unlike a ballpoint or tie rod that's sealed the "wet bolts" are a bolt that rides in a sleeve that is not sealed. The sleeve, bolt and hangars are exposed to allow water and dirt in and grease out. So the only result in "excess lubrication" would be grease dropping on the ground.
Personally if I had towed it for an extended period in rain or over very dusty/sandy roads I'd give them a shot of new grease. YMMV
