Floe water drain system

Does anyone here have experience with the Floe water drain system by Lippert? Thanks, and happy trails!

The Floe system is a "high tech" way to open the low point drains and use compressed air to push water out of the fresh water system. Cost is about $250-275 plus installation, so figure if you do it yourself, a day to install, if you have it installed, add around $300 to the price... It's a 120 VAC system, so you'll need shore power or a generator/inverter to operate it.

Is it "worth the investment? Depends on what "gee-gaws" you want on your rv that make it more complex and "simplify" what's usually a "once a year task" (winterization)....

The 12 volt version is also about $40 cheaper... All the recommendations I'm getting are to avoid it... Think about using a 120 VAC compressor compared to a 12 VDC compressor to air up tires and you'll see why the recommendations are to go with the 120 VAC version .... YMMV

I have said at virtually EVERY walkthrough I have done: the RV accessory industry will have something to take your money until the day you quit....I dont see this one as a necessity.
