Covid 19 - Bright Spot

Depending on what you read, or hear, Covid 19 is either the end of the world or nothing; IMO opinion the truth is somewhere in between.

Received some info this morning that is a bright spot somewhat - a ray of hope for those who are looking for one as many are.

A few days ago received word from our friends from MI that camp beside us every winter - DW and her are close friends. The friend's mother was having severe headaches and feeling poorly so they took her in - she is 93. Several days ago she tested positive for Covid 19. Today we received word that she is on the mend and feeling much better. In general that is good news, that she is 93 the good news makes it almost remarkable - and a bright spot.

As we've seen getting Covid isn't a death sentence, there's more to it than that - I guess we just don't know what the "other" factors are yet. With so much misinformation/disinformation being thrown around just wanted to share a real life, positive, scenario.

Thanks...It's nice to get some level-headed response to counter-balance main-stream media sensationalism.

He's right, we need to be wise about restarting the economy but be grateful that the earlier projections didn't pan out. It would be devastating to encounter a second wave of this thing by moving too quickly.

The biggest bright spot is when you turn on the news, there is NO mention of the upcoming elections... this is a BLESSING! Once the pandemic dies down a bit, I am sure the MSM will get back to it and drive me nuts.
