Water in garage

We found water in the garage of our trailer today. I think it is from a nasty storm last week. This is the second time it has happened. Anybody else have a problem with theirs? Any suggestions for a fix? Also I lifted up the bed to put something in the storage area and found the floor wet and some sheets I had in there soaked. I think it was condensation. The area is all enclosed and it has been quite cold here so we have run the furnace when working out there. My DH dried it out and drilled several 3/4" ventilation holes in the base of the bed. Hopefully that will help.

You're camper per your profile is almost new. That said, roofs and seal maintenance is the owners responsibility. A couple of thoughts:
1. Get up on the roof and inspect all of your seams and the caulking around fixtures for gaps. These can and should be resealed.
2. If you don't have vent covers over your vents, get some and install them. Then you can leave the vents open to allow your trailer to breath.
3. You described your under bed storage as soaked. That would be a lot of condensation to do that. Normally that would appear on the walls and windows, as they are the colder surfaces.

I hope this helps. Where are located now? Are you still storing or are you camping?

Had this happen to us when our camper was new. Come to find out the latch over the "mouse hole" where our power chord comes in was not latched down. Heavy rain was all it took to get water into our camper. I pay much closer attention now!

I assume by garage you mean the pass through storage area.

Check the access doors. Mine leaked badly and the water runs in to the main area on the floor. It was leaking in around the screws in the frame of the doors and also through the hinge on top of the door.

Climb in the storage area or look in there while someone sprays water around the doors and you'll see the leaks.

Owned a Montana with at 3/4 garage. Leaked around windows and rear door seal. Resealed with silicone glue to fix the leaks.
