Passport 217 EXP - Recommendations

This will be our first year to winterize our camper just curious what kind of maintenance you all do in addition to putting antifreeze in the water lines? I know we have been told to check the seals, just curious what else you might do to ensure you are taking preventative measure when storing your camper. Thank you in advance for any and all advice/recommendations.

Besides the normal procedures concerning tire pressures, propane tanks, battery, refrig, fall cleaning and holding tanks cleaning and draining, I simply bought some connectors that work with the water pump, a piece of hosing, and used the RV anti freeze method last year.
The pump is located behind the panel located in that area just to the right of the dinette, on the floor. Two screws holding the panel in place.
Disconnect the input to the pump, reconnect the new fitting and hose, put the other end in the anti freeze bottle and run pink through all water lines. Then pour a little in all the drains. Worked fine for me. I also shut off the valve to the hot water heater and drained that and left it.
There is a good winterizing thread on the forum website that gives a lot of winterizing information.

I typically park the camper on wood planks to keep the wheels up and then cover them with tire covers. Then, drain the lines using the low point drains and the water heater too. Antifreeze in the lines, traps, and don't forget the toilet too after you run the lines. Inside, a good proper cleaning and then FreshCab in the compartments. Check to make sure all the beds are in without fabric pinched so you have good seals, and close the roof vents. I disconnect the battery and remove to store in my garage, and disconnect the propane tanks up front. I little di-electric grease on the terminals of the battery and in the 7 pin connector help keep those terminals clean and good for the winter. And,... thats about it.

If putting a cover on, I find that short segments of pool noodles can be slipped onto the bunk handles and also on the gutter extensions. This helps keep them from tearing the cover.
