Back outside wall

I don't know how to describe this but here we go.
I have a 2016 cougar 339 BHS FW. The back of it where the electrical connection is. When you look at it from any angle it looks great but you can push the whole wall in maybe about 1/2 inch. Is like there is air in between the frame and the panel. At the dealer they told me that was normal because Keystone does not vacuum bonded the walls. Is this is the way it is? Should I be worry?

Your dealer is correct - the back wall is not constructed the same as the side walls which are "vacuum bonded". The back wall is essentially a single layer and is not fastened down except around any windows, edges, and lights. So it might appear wavy and it does, in a sense, "float".

Mine does the same thing and it is still attached the RV after 8 years. Not to worry.

I second what Festus said. First hand experience after tearing a hole in the back wall, I got a nice view of the inside. Just fiberglass over plywood, Luan I think, and the fixed to the aluminum frame around the edges.

That's why you see so many Cougars with wavy rear ends. The heat and cold contraction makes it look warped. JMHO but it's a cheap out. Too many other brands have a bonded rear end. Much nicer looking IMO.
