I have the unit

2013 Laredo 308RE
2013 Ford F-350 6.7 Diesel

I owned it for 5 month now so far this has happend:

Ft. Wilderness Campground stay big birds about 5:30am started pecking on the plastic roof left with some holes in it. Geico decided new unit replace roof complete $8,700 dollars later shiny new roof.

Most of the curtain plastic holders are broken.
Plastic cable guide under the slide out broke in two.
Lights in MB stop working had to be replaced.
Lights in front above the gas tanks went out replaced.
interior lights two of them replaced light bulb

Other than that I added a second A/C and ran a dedicated electric line all the way to the back and connected a separate 110V 25amp this solved the breaker popping problem.

Second A/C much need it in very hot Florida weather.

Much more!

Let me know if you like to hear all.

If the birds come back, most birds can be deterred by a rubber snake (some are persistent, though and wont be deterred by 'em). I'd try taking a little bit of dicor sealant and attach a couple of them to the roof top. Leave part unattached, though, so can wiggle in the wind (plus you might want easy removal of snakes). House parents had when I was little had cedar siding and we had to do that to keep woodpeckers from pecking the wood.

Side note - woulda saved NASA tons of $ if they would have done that when shuttle insulation was being attacked by woodpeckers.
