Javi report for me & C130?

Javi....you ever stayed at the park at the airport on Lake Waco? It has great reviews. C130 is looking for new spots for that huge TH he just bought! lol
I been to Waco so many times, but it was moving the daughter in and out of college dorms and apartments. Always about 110F in June and August so Waco doesn't hold fond memories for me! But I might just visit for old times sake.

Stayed in site 14 Airport Park the last week of March. Nice site, full hookups, 50 amp and plenty of room.

Thank you sir. It looks plenty roomy on Google.
Buddy of mine stayed there last year and said he had plenty of room, but he has a Class B M-B van conversion. He has plenty of room wherever he goes.

Not sure the park is open yet, they were flooded out right after we stayed there in March. Went by a couple of weeks ago and the gates were locked still.

OK. We did have plenty of rain this spring/summer.
Lake Livingston is just now down to normal outflows. Which is of course Dallas sewer plant outflows. Stripers have been crazy below the dam. Was I there? NO. Are there any stripers left in the lake? NO.
C130..you better call first!

I'll have to check it out! I'll need to go practice during the weekday so hopefully no one will be watching me look like a total rookie It'll be entertaining for sure, this thing looks huge and it's amazing how an extra 8 feet added makes it look humongous compared to the 35 foot Fuzion.

If you get #14 bring your cat fishing gear, that site is a great spot to wet a hook.

Well, kids have a three day weekend and so do I but can't find a camping spot nearby. We need to be fairly close because my daughter has Cher practice Sunday afternoon. Looking at Cagle first, Huntsville, then Lake Livingston. Not one spot open at any of these and I've been checking for cancellations all week.

How about Wolf Creek Park? We haven't stayed there, just drove through a couple years ago.

If you want to ride on the beach, try Beachfront RV Resort in Surfside. Direct access to the beach and about 30 miles of sand to ride on. The resort rented golf carts last time we were there, but I don't know if they still do. Not a bad place to camp for a couple of days, but it is crowded.

....and the redfish should be in the surf!
I think we're headed to Coushatta Casino next week. Since we cancelled our big fall "up north" trip we're pretty itchy to get out of town, anywhere. Use Coushatta as a base to visit Lake Charles, Lafayette, Opelousas, St. Martinville, etc. Do a little genealogy digging and fine dining.

They are full also, every single site in Huntsville, Lake Livingston, Wolf Creek, and Cagle is booked.
