Replacement Door Keys

I have a Bullet 251rbs and was looking to get some extra door keys. The keys are labeled FIC and have what looks like a key code stamped on them (CW402 and CW424). When I go to the various rv key websites, including FICs none of them list the CW series. Does anyone have any information on these keys, and maybe a place to buy them. My dealer doesn't cut keys and the blanks I got from them gave the place that I tried to have them cut problems. Thanks

I got mine done at the little kiosk in the K-Mart parking lot. They also made me copies of the storage compartment keys too. Try a lock smith also. They are not the same brand simply the same style however. They work fine.

I had the same problem. Even a locksmith did not have the correct blank. FIC changed their keys and code recently. I just contacted them directly and they shipped me extra ones. Of course i had to have 2 because both doors are not keyed alike.

IF YOU ASK THEM THEY WILL SEND YOU A LOCK CYLINDER CODED TO ANY KEY THAT WAY YOU CAN HAVE BOTH DOORS WITH THE SAME CODE.

Follow up. I called Fastec and they were very helpful. I ordered the keys on the phone but they also said that I could have typed in the code and that would have worked even though they didn't list the CW series that I needed.

cw keys

I have found they are pretty hard to get ahold of. I went to RVLocksandMore.com and just replaced all my locks. They keyed them all alike for me so I only have 1 key code for both of my locks and was able to get new cam locks keyed to the same code as well... A LOT MORE CONVENIENT having 1 key instead of 3.

I just got keys cut on EBAY, by this guy.
no.1lowestpricesguaranteed.
Great price and got them in just a couple of days.He makes all series of FIC keys. I had to take the door handle off to find the code number on the inside of the lock. Hope this helps.

I take it you didn't have any factory keys? The code is stamped on them.

I guess not. It didn't have the code stamped on it. I only had one key, and I just got the trailer. It was a forced sale, I bid on it and got it.

Ok so I have a question got new cores and new keys but. How do you get the top lock core out without the Blue key ? I got the bottom core out but it looks like I need to rig a key or get a blue key and fic says they can't sell or give me a blue key unless I have a core that is affected by the recall?

You can find the blue and orange/green keys on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/RV-Trailer-C...ic+key&_sop=15

As far as key code, many door locks have a tag pasted on them. Take the lock out of the door and you can see if there is a key code on it.
