I-Pod Cable

I have an 09 Raptor 300MP Velocity, does anyone know if the I-pod cable is supposed to charge the I-pod while it is plugged and playing Musix.
Thanks
John

Specifically, No I dont know about your model.

But typically, the ipod cables that are home stereo or music related do not charge them. And if the ipod cable has audio cables (red/white) that plug into the unit, then definitely no.

I have also had the cable in my truck charge my old Ipod, but not my new one, my phone, or my ipad.

I use the ipod cable to play Pandora.com through my Android phone. It does not charge my phone. The music plays well though.

Mine won't charge off my Sprinter stereo. I did buy a plug-in stand that site next to the stereo and it plugs in and charges the iPod. Got it at Best Buy for 25.00....

IPod cable

Go to Crutchfield.com and get a custom iPod cable for your specific truck stereo. It will charge the iPod. I got one for my Dodge 3500 and it works great.
