What are the H.P. and torque numbers now? When I bought my 2011 F250 with the 6.7 Diesel, the numbers were at .... 400 H.P. and 800 ft. lbs. of torque.

In 2015 Ford introduced the "Scorpion II" diesel engine. They installed some "durability issue parts" internally, a new turbo system, improved injectors and upped the HP/torque to 440 HP/860 FtLb of torque.

In 2017, it's essentially the same engine/turbo with a computer flash to up the HP/torque to 440 HP/925 FtLb of torque.

well I hate to say, but I walked away from the deal, not that I wanted to either, I could afford the monthly payments, but I live in Virginia Beach Va and I pooped a brick when I called the city and inquired about the personal property tax, first year being anywhere from $2200 to $2600. I could handle the insurance increase, that was understandable, but the PPT I feel is unreasonable. Owning a nice truck for pleasure use and having to upwards of 10 to 13K in personal property tax over the first 5 years of ownership was just too much for me to swallow.

We are back in our F150 and will be back looking for a 10 year or older one to buy that hopefully won't cost so much in property tax & would not be a daily driver. . . .

Thanks for your help everone

This is one of my struggles with buying a newer truck. Taxes and licensing are "out of control".

I moved from a F150 gasser to a F250 TD and the towing is day and night. Many have posted the brakes and suspension are heavier sheer power is amazing...
