Really. I towed my Fuzion 371 from the Norfolk area to Indianapolis and back over the holiday weekend and got about 8.5 mpg. Granted, a lot of that was in the hills, and the trucked towed through them like a boss. But reading some of these posts I was beginning to think something is wrong with my truck.

And looking to see what problems may be accruing with the 6.7 and Aisin. If not how do you like the truck would you change anything. i have a 04 f250 with the 6.0 i just can't take it anymore to many issues with this truck. I tow a 07 Montana 3500 rl and looking to get a used Teton soon. Thank you.

I just bought a 2015 3500 6.7L dually, crewmax. With the crewmax, you need to get the slider connection.

327 Carbon, 16.5k gross. 2950 pin weight. Technically it could be done by a single rear wheel 3500 - or maybe a 2500, but I wanted the safety of the dually and I don't like loading to max towing capacity...

No real experience with it - but a buddy pulling a similar Puma with a 3500 single rear wheel loves it.

It struck me that some folks exercise more due diligence in buying a truck than in picking their mate and getting married (and I may have been guilty of that in the past). Actually comical at times.

Personal preferences, foibles, brand prejudices aside, I don't think anyone can really make a big mistake buying any of the Big Three branded trucks.

Personally, since I'm a stick and a Cummins guy, Dodge rings my bell (and has for over 300,000 miles). Even though my style is form follows function, I like the way Dodge has designed the rear fenders on their new duallys. Best looking of the bunch, IMO. I still don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling with their automatics.

Can't say there is anything wrong with your truck but I do 6 to 7 mpg better towing. Our numbers not towing are very similar.

I have roughly 12000miles on my truck, 3.73 rear and do not have the Aisin tranny. My driving style, 55 to 65, like to keep the speed limit and my 5vr is about 14000pds ish. Can't say I am doing massive hills, it is not flat country hear but alivation changes stay well under 1000 feet.

Just finished a trip with a guy who has a gas engine that was getting the mpg you are, he spent little overt $400 more then me on fuel. That was on 3000ish miles.
