Gatlinburg TN

Heading down some time this summer with the new camper.

Wife likes this camp ground

http://www.greatsmokyjellystone.com/

Or camper is 33'10" with one slide. I have heard mix reviews about sites being small ect. Anyone ever stay here that can give some advice?

Father, and mother might come also with there 39' 5th big horn.

Thinking sites #46,#47

Thanks

We stayed down the road at "Camping in the Smokies". We had a good bit of road noise. Maybe depending on the relationship of road to the campground and the elevations, you might be a little better.
We hadn't been to Gatlinburg in 30+ years. I'll just say it isn't for us. The national park? Yes I definitely want to go back. We want to find a quiet campground close to the park for exploring and fishing, and avoid Gatlinburg itself.
But, please post back on your experience.

We stayed at the Yogi - really, really liked it. The sites are smaller than some, but the campground and staff more than made up for it. Your 33 footer will have no issue, the 39 footer might feel tight to get in, but they will help you and guide you. The owner that helped our group get in was amazing in his skill at helping folks back up and fit in. Two of the folks we were with were in 36 footers, I was only 30. The sites on the creek are wonderful - we loved it.
