Here's the answer i got:

The regular ATF, STOCK number ATFQT-EA above the bar code on the back of the quart. It will also have ATF on the front label. He does not want ATLQT-EA, The stock number is for one quart. DRV didn't know how many quarts it took to change out the fluid and I won't know until I change it in the spring. He might want to get the number off of his pump head and call Lippert to find out how many quarts are required. I couldn't get to the pump head unless I took everything out of the front section of the basement and pull the bulkhead panel to get to where the pump top is located.

Why not just to a motorsports place and grab some fork oil? The bulletin I received said to add 1 litre of Maxima fork oil 15wt. I added the container to mine, and was very skeptical that it would make any diference as ours popped alot. After adding the oil, and cycling the system a few times, I haven't heard it since. Here is the product I used which was specified on the bulletin

dogger that is the 1st thing i did to try and fix the problem. it lasted about a week and it started again i thought about sucking out another qt. and adding another qt. of fork oil but i think fluid change is next option

Al speaks of using the numbers off the pump to call Lippert to learn of the quantitiy needed for full replacement. I would think that pulling the slides in and the landing gear up, remove the ATF in the reservoir, replace with good ATF, then cycling the gear and slides several times, the doing a full replacement again would certainly minimize the old ATF in the system.

Tdawg - I would suppose that any regular, quality ATF would be fine. In an earlier post, Al stated that the Lippert speaker at a meeting admitted that Lippert uses the cheapest ATF possible, so I would probably not recommend the cheap brand. I sounds like using the fork oil basically tries to "upgrade" the cheap ATF.

My best guess would be the anti foaming agents in the fork oil help the cheap fluid they put into the system. I am thinking the cavitation from the pump with the cheap fluid is allowing air into the cylinders, which changes pressure with the temperature changes creating the popping. This is only speculation. But I do know that the fork oils have additives to prevent them from foaming. (we race offroad bikes, and I work on suspensions alot!)
