New Bullet 246rbs

We will be picking up our new Keystone Bullet 246rbs this Friday. We plan on pulling it with our 2007 Toyota Tacoma. Anyone out there use their Tacoma to pull their trailer? We are excited, this is our first RV, been married 31 years and want to hit the road

congrats on your new trailer! We are also first timers and love it so far. Some of the great folks on here have put together a pre-delivery checklist that you should take with you to your walk through, it really helped us & is great for taking notes.

Hope you enjoy!

The PDI checklist is easy to find. Simply go to the Keystone Questions section of the forum and look at the very top of the list of threads. There will be a sticky with the name Pre-Delivery Inspection Checklist .. click on it and there you are! It can be printed and taken with you when you do your walk-through.

I just saw you have the same Bullet we are getting. Sounds like you are enjoying yours. Did you replace the mattress that came with it, or is that one working out ok. I've been shopping around for one.

Welcome! We have a 2011 Bullet 246 RBS and really love it. The perfect layout for us. Love the larger bathroom. Enjoy your pickup day. You will be very excited and ready to hit the road. It may be a good idea to take a shakedown cruise close to home. We went to a state park about 8 miles from our house and had a great time even though home was just down the road. I have done a few mods to make it even better!

Cellqueen we bought a topper for it and makes a big difference and not a lot of cash or add weight!

We did this as well. A 2 1/2" memory foam topper from Sam's. Makes all the difference in the world. Now the bed is very comfy!

Welcome to the Wonderful World of RV'n from the beautiful state of Oregon!

BTW: we also did the memory foam topper (3") with the standard mattress and it works great!

Thanks for the replies and welcomes. We have now been on 4 separate camping trips in four weeks, and we're loving it. My only regrets are I think we paid too much for our Bullet, and I kind of wish we would have looked at used trailers too. But I do love our trailer, a few minor things we are finding wrong with our trailer, we will be taking it in to be repaired, the fender over tire is loose and cracked, from day one, and a small crack on roof.

Are you talking about a crack in the front cap or a "crack" in the rubber roof? If you have a rubber roof and that is where the "crack" is located, it is more likely a tear and should be repaired ASAP. You can use Eternabond Rubber Roof repair tape to fix a tear or hole. Just make sure you clean the area thoroughly before applying the tape.
