New Member with New Sprinter 277RLS

Just bought a new Sprinter 277RLS Travel Trailer today and will pick it up day after tomorrow. Will be towing it with a 2013 Chevy Avalanche. Floor plan is just what we were looking for and in the right price range.

Congrats on the new Sprinter. You'll have alot of fun with that.

Hopefully your dealer is also setting you up with a weight distributing hitch.

Even if that is so, many Suburban/Tahoe/Avalanche owners still have problems with the rear end of the truck sagging down. These three vehicles all share the same rear suspension components.

There isn't a good airbag solution for these trucks (unless you have the OEM air leveling suspension option). So you may want to check out Timbrens. These are hollow rubber helper springs that you replace your factory bump stops with. They are cheap, and the way they are sized, only come into play when you have a heavy load attached.

Send me a PM if you want to know more.

Heres timbrens. One bolt to take out and put back in. 5 mins per side. They help as I have them on now and have the airbags Im installing this week.
