Shower door seal, top/bottom part name?

I have a torn shower door seal on the bottom of my shower door, anyone know what these are called? Their made of a soft rubber.

If anyone has had to replace this could you give me the name of what a seal like this is called, and how they install.

I think I could just pull it and it will pop right out but until I find a new one I don't want to make it worse while we are in it next week during spring break.

If they do just pull out I suppose for know I could remove the top one and put it in the bottom as that's where it leaks now.

Here's our floor plan so you'll know what style shower we have.

I just replaced the bottom one with the top one as the top one doesn't do much.
They just slide out, sorry but I don't know the name of them.

Thanks, I'll try that. And then at least I can take the torn one to lowes or camper world so they can see what I'm talking about.

I know this is an older post, but my lower shower door seal is torn also, just wondering if you were able to find a replacement and where? Thanks...

We had the same thing, I realized that the shower door was crooked, so had it rehung and had that part replaced as well. Wish I woulda asked the name of the part, besides shower door seal.

But not a box home store type of product? I'll need to get one from my dealer?

If it's the same kind of seal as on our shower door, I'm trying this one. We should get it in about a week and hopefully it fits. Measurements are the same

I believe it's called a bottom vinyl door sweep. Problem being there are several different configurations from different manufacturers.

Just an update for anyone searching in the future. The shower seal/ sweep that I bought from Amazon in my previous post came a few days ago. It's a perfect fit for the torn sweep I took out of our neo-angle shower. Just had to cut it down for length. So, if you have a torn sweep with the following profile, this one works great.

Thanks! I took the one out of the top and put it in the bottom. Now I can replace the top one, which I don't really need anyway, or have a spare.

Reposting your link to product for future reference https://www.amazon.com/Two-Pronged-S...oor+seal+sweep

PS - I laugh everytime I see your handle.

As a late follow up, finally got a chance to install the new sweep, whose part number is provided in a couple of posts, and it works fine. It should be noted that the new sweep is slightly larger and more rigid than the original sweep which is a little more flimsy. After consulting with Vampress_me, who also used this part, you have to push much harder to snap this new one in place. Again this replacement appears to be much better quality that the original. and I would expect this one to last much longer.

Upgrade replacement shower door sweep

Just thought I'd share my solution to the shower door sweep that kept tearing off every 3 -4 trips on our 2018 Passport. The one shown above from Amazon is the OEM part. It's made too thin. I found a solid 1/2" wide sweep online at 2 sources. I purchased the first one from http://www.crlaurence.com part # p500hw. It's 95" L ans $12.052 plus shipping.

I used a pair of tin snips to cut it but you could use a pair of scissors or utility knife. I also measured my glass door diagonally and found it to be out of square. Others had mentioned the hinge needed to be adjusted but there is no adjustment in this door. I lifted up on the bottom corner of the door and the frame shifted almost a 1/4 ". This squared the door to the frame much tighter. The reveal gap at the top and bottom of the door is much more even. The sweep won't have to bend as much to close now.

I did have to trim the inside of the bottom sweep a bit because the inside flap on the dual sweep was a bit to stiff. I just ran a razor blade along the inside with the door closed to remove about 1/8". I doesn't need to be tight. After 8 showers there were no leaks and it only had a couple of drips on the floor after I opened it up. We always squeegee off the glass so there isn't much on there anyway.

http://www.crlaurence.com part # p500hw. It's 95" L and $12.52 plus shipping.

swisco 10-343 47" L $12.44 + shipping.
