Wavy awning lights

The led lights on our awning are wavy. Some areas fit flush against the wall of the camper and some areas arc away. I got up on a ladder and took a closer look and can't tell what hold them flush to the side of the camper. Anyone have any experience or knowledge with this?

Ours is a strip that slides into a track in the plate that mounts to the side of the camper
