7 way plug installation in bed

Hi,
I want to move my 7 way plug to inside the bed. Can someone please tell me if there is an extension that goes from the old 7 way to where the new one goes, or do I have to rewire the new plug ?
Thanks,
Grant

I used crimp on wire taps at the rear of the bumper mounted seven way and ran the new cable to where I wanted it in the side of the bed. This way both plugs work if I want to tow a TT or 5er. JM2¢, Hank

If I had to do it over again that is the way I would go. Simple plug-n-play is the way to go. JM2¢, Hank

7 way

I have both 7 ways in the short bed and 2" hitch area. Mine is plug and play type. Like having the security of a back up system when towing the 5er. Took the dealer 20 minutes to install.

Took your advise and purchased one from etrailer ( I only live about a mile from etrailer so went and picker it up there). Easy install and works great. Thanks,
Grant

Howdy All;

Just had my 5th wheel hitch installed yesterday. They tapped into the wires for the Factory installed plug set-up that came with the truck... Didn't take all that long and works like a Champ. Now I have 2 seven blade plugs, pull anything (well, almost ).
