Tevision tie strap

I can not for the life of me figure out how to make the TV tie strap work to secure the TV on the Laredo 275sbh rear tv. deale cobbled it in place and stuck a rag between buckle and screen and said you have to play with it when you have time as he has no idea.

can you post pictures of how your strap works?

it is such a simple strap have to be missing something simple!

Our strap is adjusted in such a way that the buckle is behind the tv.
Each side of the strap is long enough to wrap completely around the tv. I have one buckle adjusted up the strap to where it is behind the tv. There is enough room for me to buckle it then tighten up the longest strap.
