Damage

As I posted previously I have a 2004 zepplin 181.
I had some filon peel on the front door side though
It's not that severe I have found it nearly impossible to get some one to fix the damage

I have a ton of experience with laminates so I don't see that as a problem.
My question is before I start is what the wall thickness . Filon, luan, foam,Luan,,? And what's the thickness of the foam. The Luan and structural foam I can purchase locally
The filon I have found multiple suppliers.
So let me know if anyone has done it before.

I would guess 1/8” filon. Doesn’t look like it was glued on, but you might to glue the repair. Front corner molding and gutter molding will give you a clean edge. Maybe remove the entry door and seam it in the middle.

Yep that's what I'm going to do peel the trim remove the door and window and seem back ro the middle Luan is dry and in good shape I hink I'm going to sand the Luan smooth straight edge it then glue the filon over that. And use a system to press it on tight.

Keep in mind that filon is 1/16th inch thick.

Yep I started into it today the Luan was worse then I thought so removed it back to to door it pretty much peeled right back not much scraping the foam is on tight. They really cheaped the glue out and the aluminum frame top and bottom was clean then they scabbed foam on which never allowed the foam to adhere to the Luan

I have already purchased the stabond red bur I understand that's only good for the Luan to filon

So if I get the 183 can I use that on both foam to Luan and Luan to filon or should I just get the green to attach Luan to foam and stick with the red on Luan.

Now I have to find 1/8 Luan probably have to special order

Looks like this product can be used for the whole process.

Yep I talked to the all rite folks and they said that even though the 183e will work on.both it's not as strong as the 440 so when I'm done I will have quite a bit left if anyone local will have need i.guess it's time sensitive

Also I do the west system epoxy deal on the soft floors and man did that stiffen them up.
Wow like new

We just used Sta-Bond on a motorhome 1piece fiberglass roof. I can tell you that stuff STICKS!!!! Spray both surfaces and you only get 1 shot at it.

Floor

My floor was soft in the main area. I didn't want to do the entire floor so I removed the vinyl and did the west system epoxy process.

Wow did that stiffen hell out of the floor.
found 1/8 Luan for the outside wall at height lumber in Phoenix for 30 bucks s sheet.
a small amount by the front door and in front of the tub needs to be repaired but no other while I'm at it I'm going to do the eterna tape deal on roof and seams. Then do the self leveling stuff..
I removed the awning and will remove door and window.what caulk is recommended when resealing door and window?
And should I use butyl tape on awning rail?

Any other recommendation or suggestions would be appreciated

Don’t use eternabond unless your absolutely positive you’ll never need to do any repairs.

Do those perimeter seams then go under metal transition strips; sides, front/rear? Are you using it so you don't have to mess with the Dicor sealant? Dicor is used for a reason vs permanent tape. If you ever have to remove those strips, and the likelihood is that you will, that tape does not want to come off unless it pulls/tears everything up it's attached to including your roofing.

Looks like Danny covered it pretty well. Jus replace a roof on a motorhome with the entire perimeter taped with that stuff. Took the detail guy all day to get the residue off the side rail.

Yep got the Luan and 183e came in gonna finish prep the dry set the Luan draw out profile and cut.
The glue it on let it set route out then sand the profile down. Then do the same to filon.
Still have to wait for baggage door which won't be here until April from rec pro but that will be it.
I'm really impressed with the west system epoxy floor repair
