Slide Adjustment??

Looking for advice on adjusting a rack and pinion slide on my 2017 Cougar.
The main room slide closes properly (left, right, top, bottom all seal tightly). When open, the left side lower corner does not open to the seal. The other 3 corners appear correct.
I watched an LCI video on adjusting these slides and while informative, the examples on a mock-up didn’t help with this huge slide.

Ok, first off is to open the slide about 3/4 of the way. then carefully measure the distance from the body to the flange on both sides. If its off by more than an inch, you can take the cross over tube off the idler side and rotate it to get the same measurement. You can also support the idler side and drop the roller pack and move the slide.

Thanks Chuckster!
Measured and only have 3/8 difference with the problem side being 3/8 less.
The open/close stop bar?? is on the side that closes?

One tooth will change that end just about the right amount. Here’s the way we do it.

Use a good 3 or 4 ton floor jack, make a T using 2X6 lumber. Lift the room at the end you want to move, just enough to take the load off the roller pack. Remove one screw, lower the gear pack. Move the room by pushing/pulling and then put the gear pack back up and put the bolt back in. Lower the floor jack and try the room.
