Greetings from Pacific Northwest

Newby here from the State of Washington. I live on Camano Island, which is the only major Island that does NOT require a Ferry.

We have had our 2003 Keystone Cougar 245EFS for a year and have only used it locally during that time. As a recent Retiree, we will be hitting the Open Road this Spring. Before we do we will upgrade the wheels and tires, which are the only things that need attention. The previous Owners took very good care of it and only sold it as they decided to get a Class "C".

We had a Ford F-250 SD gasser that we used in the past year but decided it was not adequate for the road. We just got a 2001 Ford F-250 Lariat with a 7.3L diesel and the Andersen hitch. Now it pulls like it is not even there. The truck has all the 7.3L upgrades and low miles, so it should last us for a long time.

Looking forward to meeting fellow RV'ers out on the road!

Welcome aboard! We had a 2000 Ford 7.3 for 13 years. It always pulled great. Take care of it and it will last a long time.

Welcome from Oregon, and an ex-Washingtonian, nice older package, enjoy your retirement.

One small correction to your post, Whidbey Island, can also be accessed without using a ferry. I agree many ferry service it, and they are the best choice from the south end, on the north end the Deception Pass bridge provides access.

My Uncle used to live in Battle Ground and my Cousin is in Vancouver. My Mom lives in Douglas, Coffee County. We will be going there in April, I hope.

We shop there every time we visit. We always fly into JAX and stop at the R&R Wings Cafe in Hilliard, FL. Best BBQ ever!

On our Bucket List for the first long trip. We have seen so many pictures of Moab and Bryce Canyon and can't wait to see and photograph it.
