Does anyone know if there is a 12v power source in the ceiling near the manual vent? I'd like to install a powered MAXAIR Vent/fan IF there is 12v power in the ceiling near the current vent.

Thanks for your time!

Your ceiling exhaust fan isn’t controlled by the on command panel under “rear HVAC”? Also, the rear half bath exhaust fan has a vent on roof that only opens when fan is on.

Now - I can’t find how to turn on the master bath exhaust fan which brought me to this thread.

Mine opens via the on command panel under “HVAC”, “rear AC” and you “open/close” one button, and “low/medium/high” other button. When vent is opening via power, the manual knob turns too.

On your 29RKS the living room vent does have 12V up there to add a powered vent fan.
Being it is so high up, you will want a wireless remote control vent fan.

The bedroom vent if no A/C installed is prewired for a second A/C to be added.

On our bathroom exhaust fan there's just a little black button switch at the fan itself.

I have a 2017 Cougar 333mks and there was no electric for the 14x14 vent fan in kitchen area just the crank open vent. I ran a pair of wires from the master bath to the kitchen area approximately 6 ft, Really no problem at all. I installed a RVOLVENT Fan that is from a company in US and is a few years old. It's remoter control 3 in and 3 out if not mistaken and also has rain sensor built in for half the price of max air. I would recommend to anyone wanting to changed out their fans. Really super quiet.
Hope this helps.

Stay safe,

Bill

The 12v wiring should be tucked in the space between ceiling and roof space.
Unless Keystone deleted this standard feature from these models.

I have a 2018 29RKS and I was able to run a wire from the bathroom fan to the vent in the living room where I put in a Maxair fan.. There is room next to the A/C duct work in the ceiling. Good luck!

I used the telescoping handle from a car window squeege, cut a notch in the end, open it up slide it over the knob on the handle and it works fine. close it up and hang it nearby.
