Rear door latch wear

Has anyone else found this happening on the garage door of your toy hauler? It's worn very close to all the way through the door trim on both sides. Maybe a rubber strip contact cemented along the edge is the way to go for now. A challenger door could be in my very near future!Click image for larger version

It looks like maybe wall or door is loose causing friction on the door and jam or frame flexing . I had minor Truss failure across the frame under the garage If that’s the issue then the door latch would show some sign of wear. The Solar system you have is quite impressive.

On my 300MP I took a couple strips of old inner tube and put between the door frame and the latch bar. I got mine a year old and didn't like the potential wear and when I sold it 3 years later it had no additional wear. Metal on metal will wear the softer one which in this case is the door/ramp frame,

DMK,

From your photos, it also looks like you have some wear at the hinge pins. Whether the hinge holes are wearing or the hinge pins are wearing, it looks like they are not "vertically aligned" on a couple of pictures. That may be the "sloppiness" that lets the door vibrate against the door frame enough to cause that wear.... Maybe it's just the angle that you took the photos, but the hinges look like they are worn.
