Funky click

New TT, still sitting in the drive waiting for maiden voyage. I have it plugged into the household 110 and noticed today a funny "click" about every 15 seconds, sounds like a solenoid. Seems to emanate from the area where the shore power line enters, just above the gray and black valves and stops when I unplug. Water pump? Battery charger? TIA

If it's near your electrical panel it could be the convertor charging the battery. The battery must be powering something, i.e. fridge ,lites. JMO

Thanks for the reply. Nothing is turned on - unit has been plugged in for a number of days, so battery SHOULD be topped off. I'll stick my head in again and make sure all switches are off.

Hmmm, can't ever remember any clicking except for something trying to light, like the fridge or hot water heater. But if it stops when you unplug then that wouldn't make sense.

One note, even if it has been plugged in and everything is off, there are still "phantom" draws unless you have installed your own battery disconnect. Keystone factory disconnects don't "disconnect" everything. But not sure why the converter would be clicking.

I've never heard anything like this in one of my TTs. I'd remove the access panels with power off and make sure everything is connected tightly. Since you are under warranty maybe you can call them and do a quick drive by. Let us know what you find.

I agree. The only things that click audibly are the ignitors for the furnace, refer and water heater. Converter charges the battery and the only noise they make are a cooling fan.
