Schematics (I wish)

With everything I own I collect the manufacturer manual and service support documentation, you never know when a little knowledge can save you a bundle in repairs. I found a .pdf version (2013 ver.) of Keystone's Operating manual which is pretty much the same as the printed copy we received when we picked up our TT. If anyone knows where to grab a .pdf copy of wiring/plumbing diagrams for our unit please share. We store our TT at a local RV Park and they performed the winterization, but because they are a Forest River dealer I suspect they generally are aware of most manufacturers products and have enough experience to handle these things.

The owners manual speaks of water heater by-passes (if supplied model dependent) and low point drains, but I couldn't locate them as I drained the system after our last trip this season. Heading out in Feburary and needing to de-winterize on the road south and then re-winterize as we head home, because Canadian winters never end I would love to carry it out on my own. So any information, model-specific would be handy. I know I am dreaming but it never hurts to ask.

Re: Schematics (I wish)

Water heater bypass and low point drains are included on all RV's. Where the low point drains are can vary and can be a real PITA to locate. Bypass is always behind the water heater in units without a valve at the convenience center.

Since Keystone doesn't publish any schematics your best bet is just ask the people that did the winterization where the bypass and low point drains are. We don't winterize here in the central valley and the bay area where I work, but the location and operation of those items is standard information during the walk through process. All the different brands I have worked on only issue a generic owners manual for all the different models they build, even the higher end Class A motorhome builders have a somewhat generic manual.

Sorry! Couldn't resist!

Seems that no two are the same, and the guy who scribbles on the label inside your fuse panel is either semi-literate, or a doctor!
