Generator on while driving

Hello all, I am planning a long trip 1000 miles and wanted to know if it was ok to run my generator for about an hour to run ac to cool down RV while towing. Planning on making an overnight stop at rest station or Walmart and wanted to cool the RV down before I stopped for the night.

My buddy always drove with his generator running during the summer. Always made me so jealous that after set up on a hot day his camper was nice and cool. Never hurt a thing to my knowledge.

Have run Generator and AC a few times to cool Raptor. Not aware of any issues.

The only issue you may face is disruption of cooling air to the generator. I'd stop and check it frequently during the first time or two. If there's no problem, then you're "golden"
