City Water/Pump question

Hello Everyone,

My question is when hooked up to city water does it fill the water heater and do you need to have the pump turned on at all?

Out of the 10ish times we've taken our trailer out since we purchased it last summer I've only hooked up to city water once (we go with a full fresh tank and dump only upon return.) I couldn't find anything in my manuals to answer this question.

Thanks in advance!

City water should fill the HWH without the need to turn on the pump.

No pump needed when connected to water and no need to fill the water tank unless you use water while on the road. We never use the tank as we always get a water connection. Also we leave water in the water heater all season.
