IMHO you have no idea what pressure your tires need until you have actually weighed each wheel. The designers have published charts of load versus pressure for every (I think) LT tire that carries a DOT code.
I usually run 35 psi in my Load Range E tires on my Expedition. It works fine, and gives me the best traction possible. Running at 80 psi would dangerously decease the size of the tire to road contact patch. Your choice.
