Keypad Battery Removal

Ok, stupid question. The keypad stopped working, so I removed the keypad, took the 8 screws out, removed the circuit board and attempted to remove the battery. It wouldn't budge.

I assume it slides out of the contacts, I'm afraid of breaking the board, so I thought I'd better ask.

Thanks for any help.

Gary
