Well actually his signature doesn't state SRW or DRW, but his profile does, likely to avoid getting hit on by the weight police.
I would love to see a picture of that payload sticker, 11,500# GVWR and a 5,100# payload base weight 6,400#???

And I’ll be honest I’m over worrying about weight, I do that at work and not gonna while camping.

The simple fact I see across the highways is “everyone else is doing it” so I’m just over it

I wasn’t questioning your weight, I was wondering how you got a 5,100# payload on a Dmax, SRW, 11,500# GVWR, do you have a regular cab, standard bed?

First, he didn't specifically say his payload was 5100. He said, "Meanwhile my sticker on my door says 5100 I think but scale ticket is 8$&& if I remember correctly lol lies and damn lies is all the numbers give ya."

He then posted a photo of his GVW/Axle sticker which shows his GVWR as 5216Kg/11500Lb. So, "technically speaking" he is correct in saying that his "sticker says 5100 I think".....

Is there really a need to "bulldog someone for an approximation that was specifically corrected with a photo in his very next post" ????? The correct information is here for everyone to see, no need to keep dogging someone over what they "thought they remembered".....

Indeed kinda hard to argue with the facts especially after I stated I didn’t care what my trailer weighs anymore. I’m gonna pull it anyway

Didn’t mean to “bulldog” you, just that for a time GM seemed to have lighter trucks, that maybe possibly to get a payload like that with the right body style.
Sorry if I pestered you.

It’s brewed local in park city utah, I’m sure you could get on a site like topshelfwineandspirts.com and see. Or maybe a military base can order it in. Utah liquor laws are dumb. So I’m not sure what other states do for smaller quantity stuff

If the trailer has 6 wheels, the tow vehicle needs 6 wheels also. Like anything on television .... it's all for entertainment. Nothing is real on television.
That doesn't work if your trailer only has 2 tires!

FWIW, our triple axle 383 Fuzion, with two motorcycles loaded, had 12,500 lbs. on the three axles, and had 3,000 lb. pin weight. The GVWR was 18,000 lbs., but it came nowhere near that.

To the op, the ad only shows a double axle, not triple

I saw that just yesterday, I was sure the first two times I saw it it was a triple axle.

I think Y'all are missing the whole point of the commercial.
The guy says he stopped thinking when he heard 10 speed tranny. Nothing else mattered after that.

Those "Mad Men" making the commercial have no clue what a payload is or GVWR or anything else is, they just have a nice shiny truck to sell.

ps. when I saw it, it had three axles.

I recall 3 axles as well but does it matter? The VAST majority of commercials, especially for vehichles, aren't real to begin with, they are CGI. Here’s another advertising fact, every "photograph" is either created by or manipulated by software. Just like the Tik-Tock filters that make every woman look like a perfect supermodel, the "experts" on FB, or the "Nigerian Prince" relling you to send money so he can send you a "million dollar inheritance", don't blindly belive what you see, hear, or read.

When I saw the commercial on TV I made sure to look and only saw 2 axles...and that was BEFORE any adult beverage
