Smile 2020 Montana

Does anyone know if Montana has the dryer vent installed or is it something we would need to do ourselves?

Since the dryer is optional, whoever installs the washer/dryer will also install the vent.

Javi would be correct. There was not one on ours until they were told we wanted to add the washer/dryer.

Some dryers are "condensate vanted" which means it uses water instead of hot air so no outside vent is required.

Ditto Javi..............we had the dealer install the dryer vent on our 2020 Montana 3780RL when they installed the stackable washer and dryer.

The english term for that is "ventless" & would not recommend it in an RV, too much moisture inside a RV is not a good thing.

Ventless washer dryers do not add moisture to your rv. It all goes down the drain.

All the moisture filled exhaust goes down a drain??
Is that where all lint goes also??
If it by chance goes into the same grey tank as the shower then better be a good-sized tank or connected to sewer beforehand, with the shower, washer & the dryer all draining into it, that's a lot of water.
Whether into the RV or down a drain, I think I'd go with the vented regardless.

We have had the Splendide 7100 ventless for a year now in our RV. Nary a problem with it. We are in Yuma so a little humidity is not hurting us. Actually it helps a little. We don't use the dryer mode so we don't use that much water. When adding weight to the front really adds up and that is why I went with one unit versus two. Glad I did, no problems so far. To each his own.

I have one. I open the gray drain when we use it. It's not a big deal.

I didn't want to cut a 4 inch hole in the side of my rv. Both wife and I are happy with our decision to buy the splendide 7100xc.

Another plus is the storage we gain above the combo where the dryer would be in a stackable.

We've had ours a little over a year also. I full timed in our 384br with it up near St. Louis, and then we went down to florida for a few months. Both I think are the humidity capitals of the world. No problems.

We hang clothes outside when we can, on a thing I bought that attaches to the rv ladder. We'd do that even if we had a stackable.

Wife has learned the correct settings to use to get the clothes dry and unwrinkled when we use the dryer function.

I have experience no hot air discharge.

The splendide ventless dries through a steam condenser process.

Wife loves it

My wife started slow and deliberate with our ventless washer dryer. Warmer climates we do like you and hang clothes accordingly. Come cooler weather the warmth radiating from the dryer helps with heating chores. My main thing was total weight on front of trailer. These things aren't light. Add a dryer with it and that's a lot of weight. Seems like people that's actually used this type setup like them for what they are. I know we do. I don't know where the moisture thing keeps coming up when people talk about them? We definitely like the convenience of one unit versus our whole closet filled also. Like I said to each there own.
