15K Pullrite Superglide

Can anyone comment on this hitch. I have a 2011 243rl Montana High Country and plan to install this in my 2009 2500 HD Duramax Chevy Crew Cab (6.5' bed). If you have a similar setup any comments would be great.

Enjoy the trip

I have the 16k hitch and it works great. I never have to worry about the 5th hitting the back window of the truck.

I'm not sure if you're looking for specific info but I can tell you I think they are worth the money.

I was looking for any tips / advice on using the hitch and towing. This is my first 5er. I have always had a TT before.

First of all, cannot go wrong with this upgrade. I have it mounted in my F250 short bed and have the avalanche 340 TG. I backed in this last trip to almost a perfect 90 degree angle and I never got close to touching the cab. One thing to take note of is that the manufacturer no longer greases the sliding areas and it must be lubed before use. Either use a dry graphite spray (slip plate is a brand name) or white lithium grease. I found the graphite spray was still a little too noisy for my taste so I went back to lithium grease. You just have to regularly clean the grease and dirt off and retreat with the lithium grease.

Ditto what AllenTX1 said.

We have a short bed F250 and have the 15k in stalled in ours now for about 4 years.

No problems whatsoever with it.

Love our 18k... Other than I cant upgrade to the new tubes.

Been in some crummy weather and tight spots... Never worried about getting out of the rig or clearing the corners with it. Worth every penny.

Just make sure you order the right capture plate for your pin.
