Laredo 5th wheel information

Hello all, We are looking at a left over 2011 Keystone Laredo 5th wheel model 310RE to replace our Cougar TT for more room easier towing etc. We believe we will be OK with our properly equipt 2011 Ford F250 6.7. Anyone know where the Laredo fits in the list of mid level Keystone fivers for quality of materials, trim level, fit and finish etc. Also is there any real information about the R factors in the walls, ceiling, floors and ends, We are getting some pretty wildly high numbers from the salesman that I believe are impossible.
Thanks in advance for any help

Welcome rvrat,

We have a 2010 Laredo 5th wheel and have been extremely pleased with it.
We've owned other brands, both higher & lower priced, and this is our 2nd Keystone.
The higher insulation factors, as a standard feature, is part of the reason we chose
the Laredo. We travel/camp year-around, have experienced all kinds of weather, and
haven't been disappointed.

As of April 2010, Laredo 5th wheel line** has the Therma-Shield 37 Tank Enclosure;
35K btu furnace; R-32 floor insulation; R-28 roof insulation; R-9 sidewall insulation

**R-factors & furnace size are different on Super-Lite FW's & TT's (as per Keystone).

If you have any other questions, just ask - there are several Laredo owners here.

Terri, the Chevy co-pilot & DH Kevin

Looks like the Laredo is below the Cougar and Cougar High Country. As for your TV, I would guess that you will be border line on the pin weight. Specs show 1785 but Keystone and others seem to go very light on the pin weight. Ours is listed as 1715, yet on the scales we're at 2600 to 2700 depending on what we have in the basement. Your TV will have plenty of power for towing that rig, but I would check the numbers for cargo capacity and max pin weight. The GM 2500s have a max pin weight of 2500, yea I know plenty are carrying much more than that, I'm just putting it out there a food for thought. Best wishes on what ever you decide.

The names are listed in "alphabetical order", not in order of quality.

Thanks again for the information. I had been unable to confirm the r-factors that the dealer was telling us, it looks like he was right. We sometimes get into below freezing weather in the fall and the spring and would like to not be too concerned about pipes/tanks freezing.
