Talking Welcome from Colorado!

Good Morning!

We just purchased our new fifth wheel. We will be picking up next weekend. First fifth wheel. We have owned a tent, travel trailers, and a C class. Little nervous a little bigger than we planned. But my DH loved the patio feature.

Glad to have found you. We also have the 338 Pat, and will never give it up! We are looking to find a way to have something installed to close up the kitchen area for rain and maybe security at night. We made a canvas pull down curtain, works but wondering if you had the need or solution. Also looking to put bug screening around the patio. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

I word of caution - give yourself plenty of turning room. When we moved from a motor home to a fifth wheel I clipped the side of the fifth wheel (slide awning) on the side of a delivery truck at a Flying J. I did not have camper mirrors on the truck and could not see down the side of the trailer and made too tight of a turn. No damage to the delivery truck but some to the trailer. Took the dealer 1 1/2 months to get all of the parts from the RV manuf. Our insurance covered the damage.
