When I set up the trailer Saturday and turned on the water, the water valve on the toilet started spraying water all over the bathroom floor.
There was a RV Dealer just down the road so I went over and bought a valve, put it in and all was good. Price of the water valve, $62. Ouch..

Just out of curiosity, I looked the valve up online and found them with pricing from $28 to $38. I don't mind paying a fair price for anything, but it just goes all over me to get ripped off by a greedy dealership.
Lesson to be learned... Stock your spare parts box online and save a lot of $$$

I hear you. Some dealerships really mark up while others are more realistic. No common ground. Some may say whatever the market will bear. They can justify by saying shipping, overhead, staff, etc. I guess like you said try to be proactive.

Hey Bob, one of the first mods on my Springdale was a shut off valve by the toilet. on my old Komfort I had the same surprise you did while sitting doing my daily ,not fun ----Lou----
