Pre season maintance
Welp, just finished my pre season maintance, wash, lubed hubs, checked all appliances, de winterized the water system, and all was good, execpt for the rust on the frame. Keystone must skimp on the paint. could not beleave how much rust there was on a 2013 camper. just got out the wire brush and some rustoleum and looks like new. even changed all the light bulbs 22 of those suckers to L.E.D.

Sounds good.
My pre season checklist so far: Uncovered, Removed black tank valve and dislodged debris stuck in valve, dewinterized the plumbing, trimmed tree limbs over rv pad, scrubbed roof and every other exterior surface, installed Eternabond tape on roof, touch up caulk on anywhere that needed it, replaced outside kitchen door and frame with new (factory door was warped), installed bal stabilizer bars on rear scissor jacks, cleaned every interior surface including Windows, tightened loose motor on bedroom slide. All that's left is install graphics on outside kitchen door and wax exterior, then load up for the season. Whew.
Update:
Relocated propane quick connect outlet for grill from center under rear bumper to curb side under outdoor kitchen (easier access), next to quick connect for outside stove. Installed new graphics on outdoor kitchen door, opened belly and lubed main slide guidebar (terrible squeak, now solved), hand waxed polished all fiberglass surfaces (yes I am sore). I think all that is left is to load and go.
Darn, I forgot. Still need to lube the bearings and check/adjust the brakes.

Thinking about looking things over myself this week. Need to put the battery back in the box first.
Need to get a hold of my electrician to install a 30amp plug on my pole barn so I can keep it plugged in between trips.

I just plugged mine in and put out the slides this weekend. I have always just plugged it in using 15 amps. I dont run the air when its parked so 15 amps keeps the batteries up and the microwave and Tv. going I was thinking about running 30 amps but is a lot of work when I dont use the air out back

Be sure your electrician knows that it's 120V/30A and not 240V. Lots of documented horror stories about that.

Where did you get all the LED's and what did it run you? I was thinking of doing the same to save battery consumption

I agree with the rust on the frame. I was thinking of just giving a light coat of fluid film under coat.

Just took delivery of my 2015 28bhs and it had a few vertical rust stains directly under some welds. It came off with some gentle cleaning but the entire frame is going to under go a loser inspection this coming weekend,and get touch up where needed This is our first new camper and that is a little disappointing. I have grown up in the rust belt my entire life, but that is sad for a rig that just rolled off the line 3days before delivery. (I know, doesn't take long to surface rust, and frames sit out longer than finished unit).
Just got the Husky 4500 installed, all the gear loaded in, ran a few tanks of H2O through it, ready to take it on the maiden voyage next weekend
Overall I am very pleased with the initial delivery quality, fit and finish. Of course some saw dust here and there, but overall

I was thinking of putting some undercoat on the exposed frame. Anyone know of any draw back?
