Inverter Remote Install - wiring.
Sometime this week I will get my inverter remote and will begin my inverter install. It is going in the passthrough in the front and I'm planning on taking the coroplast down to wire to the battery. But now the remote mounting...although I could put it in the bedroom. It seems that he place to mount it would be on the interior wall on the 'living room side' of the bathroom wall as there is my CO detector and the thermostat on one side of the door and my control panel on the other side of the door.
Although I'm fairly good with this in a house...I have no experience in a trailer. I was planning on just taking out one of the existing mounted devices (for instance the CO detector) - drilling a hole through the floor (making sure there is not tank below...visually by removing the underbelly cover) and running the wire under the trailer to the pass through to the inverter.
Does this make sense, any concerns, better ways, etc?
thanks in advance.
Jay
