If nighttime lows stay above freezing, your golden. Just understand your probably going to use a lot of propane to stay nice and toasty inside. Lots of threads on supplemental heat.

We like it cold when we sleep.. we have the enclosed and heated underbelly. So we "should" be ok right?

We have been known to camp in 6* weather in northern Idaho. We had a great time. Just don't travel without being winterized, ie. Drain the pipes and water heater. We did not and broke our water heater.

That's called "hitch itch". It strikes new owners a little sooner than seasoned one. End of Feb I wouldn't be too concerned with camping but would winterize again when returning. The NWS web site can provide historical Temps and averages for a particular area. Don't get fooled by a "warm spell" then forget it's still winter.

Where are you in Iowa that the temps are that warm at night? 5 degrees above this morning in Northeast Iowa

17 and light snow in Omaha ... but, this weekend it should be back in the upper 40s, low 50s. We have the itch too, but will probably wait until mid March.

Don't be fooled by any gimmicky name (Artic, Polar, 4 Season) your dealer may have used to describe your rv.
The "heated enclosed underbelly" is heated by possibly 1 - 2" duct blowing into the area insulated by a reflectix (foil bubble wrap) enclosed by coroplast (plastic cardboard). It WILL freeze in colder temps & a 20# propane tank may last 3 days running the furnace if below freezing at night.

Ours was winterized when we bought it and we took it out that same day on its maiden voyage with 3 inches of snow and temps in the 20's. We brought in gallon water jugs for the kitchen and the toilet and then added a gallon or two of RV antifreeze for each tank depending on how much water we put into the tanks. One gallon of water = one gallon of RV antifreeze.

I simply can't imagine what itch y'all are talking about. About 74 degrees today in south Florida and we grilled catfish outside tonight. Served with escalloped potatoes, green beans and a green salad, lots of radishes. Followed up with cheese cake and waiting for an episode of Columbo and then to bed. (No, we don't have satellite TV)
I will admit to visiting my mom in northern Wisconsin last week with friends and it was -24 one morning. It felt good to get back on the plane.
