MaxxFan Deluxe Install on 23MLE

Has anyone installed a MaxxFan Deluxe on a 23MLE with the Solar i400?

I want to replace my OEM bathroom fan with a MaxxFan, but while on the roof the other day, I noticed that the OEM fan is very close to the solar panel. Wondering if there is enough clearance for the fan lid to open. Don't want to order a fan and not be able to use it.

I am not sure on the 23MLE, but I have a 2022 24RDS and I changed out the factory vent/fan with a MaxxFan Deluxe. Mine was really close to the solar panel up there, but it all fit. I have the I200 package. I was worried while I was installing it, but in the end, it all worked. Good Luck.

Thanks for your input, this is what I'm looking at, facing the rear of the rig.
Guess I'll have to climb up there again tonight to measure the lid and compare to the MaxxFan specs.

it looks like you will be ok. It will be tight but will fit. On mine it was tight but worked, but I ran out of self lever and have to order some more to finish up the job.

Follow up. Finally had time to get out to my rig. No way it will fit as is.
The lid on the current fan is 15". The lid on the MaxxFan is 16 9/16". I'd need a little more than 3/4" and the ruler in the picture is 1" wide.
I'm going to have to move the solar panel about an inch.
Now I'm wondering... can I just leave the roof mounts where they are or do I have to move them too?

Good question. Hopefully you can loose the breakers on the solar panel and move them a little good luck.
