Inverter

Jayant one out there know of an inverter that does 12 to 120 ad when short power is on it turn offs othe outlets to it will be 120 volt? Cougar has 3 outlets that are set for the inverter and shore power but there is no inverter inthe unit.

If there is no inverter installed, and it was “inverter ready” there will be a loop of romex where the inverter would be installed.

Depending on the brand of inverter, there may be a transfer switch or the inverter may have “pass through”.

Do the 3 outlets in question have power? If so when?

Yes they do now as I have not install and inverter and cut the romax wire tithe three in the cougar 3rls.

Ok, when you choose an inverter to install, you can choose one with an internal automatic transfer switch, or install an external transfer switch. You will have to install the 12V wiring to the inverter from the battery’s using the proper size wire. I would also look for an inverter with a remote switch.
