Hitch changed

I have a pull right 5th wheel hitch. Originally it was installed on my 2019 f250 using a rail system. I purchased a new f350 with the puck system and reinstalled the hitch. Seems now the hitch is closer to the front of the truck bed. When hitching up camper the tail gate when open is really close to the rig I mean close as to within an inch. I can move the hitch back some and that would put it over the rear axle or maybe a little past. Any suggestions or will I be fine just moving the hitch back some.

The kingpin should be 1-2” forward of the rear axle. Can you adjust the hitch to get that measurement

It will be close. Going to move it today n see where it puts. But I know it’s going to be real close.

Call Pull Right. Their customer support was pretty good when I talked to them.

How did you adapt the hitch designed for rails to pucks? Did you use a picture frame adapter or new hitch base.
