SoftStartUp

For those that have installed or followed the "SoftStart" discussions....they have come out with a different device that does not require an install/rewire of the AC. Interesting device.

I know! Especially since it really does not take the place of an EMS.

Outside the price the technology is interesting for more applications such as running 2 ACs without softstarts or in household applications running on 120V 20-30A situations. Meaning instead of having 1-2 softstarts installed on your trailer with a 3000W inverter generator your could use this and the generator to run the trailer with AC(s?) + (with the help of an electrician) you could isolate circuit breakers and run on a single phase and run a bunch of house hold items with the same setup.

So where your household fridge+freezer+boiler+some room(s) of electrical couldn't normally be handled by the generator it could be handled.

Anyways interesting (at least to me).

I find it curious that it claims you can run more amps than the breaker panel allows.

"Get $300 Off: Pay $599 Today and SAVE $300 on regular price of $899."

Better hurry before it goes back to the $900 that it's never actually been at. No thanks. I'd rather keep my surge protector and soft start separate.
