Outback ultra lite 302UBH

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and I am desperately seeking some help.
Bought this travel trailer last year and had a problem with the city water getting into the fresh water tank. The tank overflowed and fortunately we only had a small leak inside our trailer before we noticed the problem. We called the dealer and they worked on it, and told us it was a problem that originated at the factory and they had it fixed. Well, guess what, we are now 331 km/ 186 miles away from the dealer and the problem isn’t fixed. When we connect to the city water the fresh water tank is somehow been filled. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

Most likely culprit is the check valve in the water pump. It may have trash or just sticky. Try this:

Turn off the city water, turn on the pump and run the water for about 5 minutes. This might clean/reseat the check valve. If it doesn’t work then the water pump needs repaired/replaced.
